We move heaven and earth.

Earthwork is the process of moving a portion of the earth’s surface from one location to another. This includes engineering works created through the processing of quantities of soil or unformed rock.

Our approach to earthworks

Wedgewood can undertake any size earthworks project, including muckshift, pond and lake construction and carriageway construction. Using our own extensive fleet of heavy equipment and GPS control systems, we can create complex designs and shapes according to your requirements.

We can create DTM models from your 2D designs, and provide full surveying and quantity reporting using Leica GPS rover and LSS software where necessary.

1. Scope

Using our leading edge technology and equipment, and working with your existing plans and partners, we will devise a clear scope of work, including cost. No stone will be left unturned.

2. Survey

We create DTM models from your 2D designs, plus full surveying and quantity reporting. Our GPS systems guarantee all earthworks operations adhere to precise specifications and tolerances in the overall design model.

3. Deliver

With our flexible operating model, we deliver cost-efficient and sustainable earthwork solutions across the commercial, agricultural, and industrial sectors.

Machines we use for earthworks

Our substantial fleet of machinery, overseen and maintained by our highly qualified in-house team, ensures the successful and consistent completion of earthworks projects within specified timelines.
